Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Pediatric Dentist for a part-time role at our Wellesley, MA location, just outside Boston. The practice offers integrated orthodontics and periodontics, a supportive team, and a patient-focused environment designed for long-term care.

You will diagnose and treat pediatric patients, educate families, and develop individualized plans while maintaining high standards of care and ethics. Flexible days foster work-life balance.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
