Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a part-time role to join a multi-specialty practice just outside Boston. The position offers a per diem rate with uncapped earnings based on collections, with benefits that support full- and part-time schedules.

You’ll work in a state-of-the-art facility with a collaborative team and growth opportunities. You will diagnose, educate, and treat pediatric patients, develop comprehensive care plans, and maintain patient records

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Active/valid state dentistry license required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Explain treatment options to patients.
• Maintain and update patient records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostics; monitor growth and development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
