Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist/Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) to provide preventive and limited emergency dental care to students. Responsibilities include chairside instruction, school-wide health education, and maintaining infection control standards.

The role requires PA RDH and PHDHP licenses, CPR/AED certification, and at least one year of general dental practice.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Minimum 1 year of general dental practice experience.
• Active PA RDH and PHDHP licenses.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Strong ability to work with children of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside oral hygiene instruction and nutrition counseling.
• Participate in school-wide oral health education initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA/CDC infection control standards.
• Maintain dental equipment and supplies.
• Work across three school-based dental clinics (Elementary & Senior Schools).
