Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking a Part-Time Dental Anesthesiologist for an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Austin, TX. The role focuses on safe anesthesia care for pediatric patients under general anesthesia, integrated with a dedicated surgical team.

Part-time schedule (1–2 days/week) with no on-call, no weekends or holidays. The candidate should have a TX license, current BLS, and preferably National Board certification, with PALS readiness within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Be a licensed Dentist Anesthesiologist with pediatric anesthesia experience.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• State licensure for TX required.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire; National Board certification preferred.
• Experience across anesthesia staffing models (e.g., Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Care for pediatric patients during the OR day (approximately seven).
• Work closely with dentists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other care team members.
• Support a patient-focused, collaborative culture.
