Job summary

Allied Universal in Clinton, MS is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Patrol Response to protect facilities and deter incidents. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service while following site procedures.

Requirements include 1 year of security experience, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 20+ pounds, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen as required by law.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Report potential hazards, policy violations, and unauthorized activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
