Compass Group USA's TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for a part-time Patient Transporter at Ascension St Vincent Kokomo, IN. The role involves safe, timely transport of patients, medical equipment and related items within the facility, with up to three days per week.

Qualifications

• Transport patients and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work with nursing staff and dispatch to coordinate journeys.
• Maintain patient comfort and privacy during transport.
• Follow facility safety and HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients, secures IVs and equipment.
• Use wheelchairs or rolling stock as needed for patient transfers.
• Ensure timely delivery to destinations as requested by nursing staff.
• Communicate clearly with clinicians and reception staff.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain patient comfort and privacy throughout transport.
