Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Part Time Patient Access Specialist.
The Part Time Patient Access Specialist is responsible for taking inbound calls, making outbound calls, timely and accurately scheduling and pre-registering patients in the SMS and Cerner systems.
The Patient Access Specialist will also be responsible for attempting to collect co‑pays and deductibles from patient at the time of pre‑registration.
This position is also responsible for interpreting managed care contracts; Medicare regulations; medical and anatomy terminology and applying the knowledge to the scheduling and registration process.
