Job summary

Hill Idealease of Martins Ferry, a leading tri-state dealer for medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, is seeking part-time non-CDL delivery drivers to support its parts department in Martins Ferry, OH. You will follow CDL drivers as a chase driver for the Sales Team and customers, and pick up and deliver parts to customer locations, satellite stores, wholesale accounts and vendors.

Responsibilities include logging deliveries, verifying invoices, keeping a daily delivery log, unloading

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Valid driver’s license with clean record in last 5 years.
Ability to pass drug screening.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Must be able to bend-reach-stoop, lift 50 lbs, and sit/drive for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Follow CDL drivers as chase driver for Sales Team and customers.
Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts and vendors.
Coordinate last-minute pick-ups or deliveries with relevant parties.
Verify invoices match purchase orders daily.
Verify payment received for deliveries.
Maintain an accurate daily delivery and pick-up logbook; obtain signatures on delivery.
Unload trucks each night.
Up-keep of company vehicle and identify maintenance needs.
