Job summary

MMT Ambulance is hiring a part-time Paramedic to provide high-quality BLS/ALS care in the Grand Strand area of South Carolina. You will operate ambulances, deliver patient-focused care, and work with a supportive EMS team to ensure safe transports and accurate documentation.

The role requires state-specific paramedic certification, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic certification/license (state-specific requirements apply).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and lift up to 125 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide BLS/ALS within the Paramedic scope of practice.
• Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles.
• Deliver competent, compassionate patient care in various settings.
• Apply EMS protocols and procedures in different situations.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, healthcare staff, and team members.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting.
• Assist fellow EMS providers and provide handoff reports.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and restock supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and a commitment to patient care and safety.
