Job summary

Allied Universal in West Point, GA is seeking a Georgia-certified Paramedic Firefighter for a part-time emergency response role at a premier automotive manufacturing facility. The position offers 12-hour night shifts and the flexibility to pick up one or two shifts per week, providing consistent supplemental income.

You will respond to emergencies, administer BLS care, and patrol the site while operating firefighting equipment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Georgia State Firefighter 1 & 2 (NFPA 1001) and a current EMT license (or higher).
• Physical readiness: pass a physical and Fit Test for SCBA; wear gear ~70 lbs and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to obtain HazMat Tech and Confined Space/Rope Rescue certifications annually.
• At least 21 years old with HS diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Emergency response as primary responder for fires, accidents, and hazmat mitigation.
• Administer Basic Life Support and emergency medical care on site.
• Conduct patrols to deter safety violations and hazards.
• Operate firefighting apparatus, hoses, ladders, and rescue equipment as needed.
