Job summary

Life Ambulance Network in Troy, MI is seeking a dedicated Paramedic to join our growing EMS team. This part-time position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care during transport, with strict adherence to state EMS regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• EMT National Registry and/or current state license (or pending).
• Provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting patients.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment interview including physical and lifting exam and a drug screen.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as described in EMT training.
• Safely transport patients and navigate to locations accurately.
• Assess patient condition and communicate findings to medical professionals.
• Document patient condition, history, and treatment provided.
• Provide billing documentation as required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor fluid levels and gauges.

Responsibilities

• To provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in their training as an EMT.
• To provide safe transportation, to include accurately discerning street names through map reading, the ability to correctly distinguish house numbers, and addresses of business locations, in the most expedient manner, are essential.
• To appropriately assess a patient and accurately convey the condition to other medical professionals.
• To provide an accurate written report describing a patient's condition, medical history, and the treatment provided.
• To provide appropriate documentation for billing information.
• To maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition, in addition to monitoring all fluid levels and gauges.
