Job summary

AMR in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Part-Time Paramedic to deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses. You will assess calls, lead the scene, and operate defibrillators, monitors, oxygen, and IV therapy with compassion.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action and lead the scene.
• Operate defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV therapy.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
