Join Parachute, LLC in Maryville, TN is seeking a Part-Time Paramedic (Physician Substitute) to join our Center Medical team. You will focus on donor health, safety, and a positive donor experience while collaborating with center staff.

This role offers the chance to grow with a high-growth plasma donation network, cross-training in center functions, and the opportunity to gain additional responsibilities with potential pay increases.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ is required.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.
• Must be certified/licensed Paramedic in the state of employment.

Responsabilités

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive donor environment.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.

What You’ll Do

As an Paramedic (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed Paramedic in the state of employment
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
