Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Part Time Paramedic to ensure donor health and safety and enhance the donor experience in a fast-growing plasma donation center. You will collaborate with center staff and support a welcoming environment for donors while maintaining high standards of care.

You’ll be cross-trained in center operations including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station setup, with opportunities to take on more responsibilities as the team expands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Paramedic certification in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with all center staff to ensure a positive environment.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.

Compensation: $23 - $25/hour + potential monthly bonus

What You’ll Do

As an Paramedic (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed Paramedic in the state of employment
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
