Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a Part Time Paramedic (Physician Substitute) at our Grand Island, NE site. You will ensure donor health and safety and support the donor experience in a lean center team.

You will work with center staff, cross-training across functions, with growth opportunities in a high-growth plasma donation organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent or higher.
• Certified/licensed Paramedic in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy and station setup.

What You’ll Do

As an Paramedic (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff

• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation
