The position requires a Juris Doctorate OR Master’s Degree in Legal Assisting, Paralegal Studies, or Law OR Master’s Degree with 18 graduate credits in those fields. Office hours and some evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
• High level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching.
• All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mastery of their specific discipline and support student success and persistence.
• Employ teaching methods to accommodate various levels of academic preparation and technology.
• Facilitate needs of different learners with responsive pedagogical techniques.
• Examine and adapt instructional, relational, and classroom practices to engage students.
• Engage in student consultation, course preparation, and syllabus development.
• Provide prompt and constructive support to students through office hours and feedback.
• Provide timely feedback to student emails and adhere to deadlines.
• Participate in service to the college and community.
