Job summary

The University of Miami's Office of Professional Advancement is seeking qualified part-time Program Educators for the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program. We seek experienced legal professionals who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and preparing students for success in the legal field.

Minimum qualifications include a JD from an accredited law school, active Florida Bar membership or good standing, and at least 10 years of legal practice or teaching experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with a state bar (Florida Bar preferred).
• At least 10 years of professional legal and/or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in paralegal studies and legal practice.
• Teach legal research, legal writing, case analysis, and procedural concepts.
• Mentor, guide, and provide constructive feedback to participants.
