Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Part-time Pallet Builder in Anderson, SC. You’ll build wooden pallets from recycled materials and repair pallets to service-ready condition, helping us support sustainable practices.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6:30pm, with pay $17.00–$25.00 per hour. You’ll work with production teams, follow safety rules, and help ensure pallets meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Craft apprenticeship completion preferred.
• Requires quick hands and attention to detail.
• Observance of all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables.
• Ability to follow written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.
• Experience safely operating air-driven, electric, pneumatic, and manual woodworking tools.
• Previous experience in welding, lumbering, construction, carpentry, or roofing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Return damaged pallets to service-ready condition.
• Communicate with Production Supervisors and Plant Managers.
• Examine products after repair for quality conformance.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment per standards.
• Build the given number of pallets after training.
• Repair the given number of pallets after training.
• Work without constant supervision to meet production quotas.
• Stack pallets following inventory control instructions.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
