Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Effingham, IL is hiring a part-time Driver/Delivery Associate to serve wholesale and retail customers, determine their needs, and deliver products from store #1135.

You will load, transport, and deliver items in a safe, timely manner, maintain the store vehicle, and follow routes and safety rules. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour and benefits include health coverage and retirement savings, with time off and other perks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and follow time schedules.
• Adhere to all safety procedures while driving and operating equipment.
