Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler in Minnesota. You will load, unload, and sort freight quickly and accurately to ensure timely delivery. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, and working Monday–Friday starting at 4:30 PM.

Experience with scanning labels, sorting by zip code, and maintaining a clean warehouse is preferred. A 401(k) plan is offered, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes to maximize space and prevent damage.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Part-Time Package Handler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately and in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, 4:30PM start
• $18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
