Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant License issued by the West Virginia Board of Medicine.
• Current Prescriptive Authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of primary care health services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness.
• Manage patients and conditions within scope of PA training.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Deliver patient education and participate in follow-up and evaluation.
• Document all activities in a timely manner per policy.
• Collaborate with other medical providers and refer when appropriate.
• Share after-hours coverage with Family Practice providers.
• Participation in research, teaching or other activities as appropriate.
