Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain attractive displays across Fresh departments. You’ll engage with customers, share product knowledge, and help locate items while complying with safety and sanitation standards.

You’ll work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery to ensure a smooth store experience. The role rewards a customer‑first mindset, attention to detail, and physical stamina in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product to maintain full, fresh displays.
• Maintain clean, visually appealing shelves and displays across departments.
• Assist customers by answering questions and locating items.
• Use store technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures; support multiple departments as needed.
