Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Plano, TX seeks a Physical Therapist for outpatient care on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will treat a variety of diagnoses including ortho, neuro, and vestibular, and collaborate within a large team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, caseload management of 10–12 daily patients, and thorough documentation using TherapEBridge, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as Physical Therapist or eligibility in Texas.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Patient caseload of 10-12 patients per day on average.
• Timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients and families as needed.

Education

Texas PT licensure or eligibility

BLS certification (or within 90 days)
