Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is seeking a part-time Order Selector to accurately pull customer orders in our warehouse. You will operate motorized equipment and maintain speed and accuracy while palletizing orders within assigned locations.

Benefits eligible after 30 days of employment include health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and more; weekly pay is provided. UNFI offers a team-oriented environment and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have experience in a warehouse or distribution company environment.
• Must have experience with headset/voice order selection.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, frequent bending, stooping and lifting.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and/or selects various health & beauty products, general merchandiseproducts or supplies from warehouse stock
• Transports product throughout the warehouse
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Maintains order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage
• Build stable and well cubed pallet
• Ensures the correct labels are on the correct pallet

• $1.00/hour increase after 6 months, $1.00/hour increase after 1 year

What does it mean to be a part of the Order Selection team?

In this fast-paced role, you are the boots on the ground and responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. This role requires strategic thinking and attention to detail while palletizing orders and ensuring they are placed in the correct assigned locations. You will operate motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks while ensuring that you safely and accurately move product within the warehouse. UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position.
