Methodist Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for a part-time, Saturday-Sunday shift at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in the Dallas area. The RN provides professional nursing care using the nursing process and supports hospital mission and values.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Texas RN license or eligibility, and 12 months RN experience with BLS certification. Apply to join a Magnet-designated hospital with a history of exemplary patient care.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain.
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication, interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of education for patients and families.
• Communicates with team, coworkers, patients, and families and confirms understanding of information.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, coworkers, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provides a therapeutic environment through safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
• Takes personal responsibility for performance and professional growth.
• Uses the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
