Job summary

Des Peres Square Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc (USPI), is seeking a Part Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN). The Circulating RN provides nursing care during surgery, positions and preps patients, and circulates cases. Weekdays only, no holidays, weekends, or call; some evenings may be required.

Competitive salary and benefits. Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited RN program with active MO RN license and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Missouri.
• ACLS required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Position and prep the patient for surgery and circulating the case.
• Circulate the case during procedures and assist the team.
• Support multiple surgical specialties as listed (Cosmetic, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Spine, Urology).
