Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide routine eye care at two partner facilities in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Minersville, PA. The role offers predictable monthly scheduling, flexibility, and the opportunity to impact local senior communities.

This is a travel-friendly, high-rate per-diem position operating in Geisinger-affiliated outpatient settings with independent contractor status. Typical hours are 8:30am–4:30pm, no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited program.
• Active Pennsylvania optometry license.
• Experience treating senior populations preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between Wilkes-Barre and Minersville.
• Outpatient clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
