Job summary

Mobile Medical Support Vision is seeking a licensed Optometrist for a part-time role in Southeast Michigan. You’ll perform thorough eye exams, diagnose and treat eye conditions, and help design treatment plans for patients.

This position offers flexible scheduling—from one day a month up to four days a week—with all equipment and supplies provided and mileage reimbursement for local travel. The role is ideal to complement existing practice and serve geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• OD license in Michigan required.
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred.
• Part-time schedule with flexible days.

Mobile Medical Support Vision provides compassionate eye care to underserved seniors across Southeast Michigan, and we're looking for an experienced, patient, and kind Optometrist to grow with us.

This is a great fit if you want to supplement your current practice, add some variety to your routine, or simply give back to a population that needs you. Work as little as one day a month, or up to three to four days a week. The schedule bends to fit your life, not the other way around.

What you'd do:

• Perform thorough eye exams
• Diagnose and treat eye disease and conditions
• Prescribe eyeglasses and create patient treatment plans
• Educate patients on their eye health

What we provide:

• $100 per hour
• All equipment and supplies, cost free
• Mileage reimbursement for local travel
• A Monday to Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends

What you bring:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD)
• Active Michigan optometry license
• A warm, patient-first approach (experience with geriatric patients is a plus)
