Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide preventive and comprehensive eye care to seniors in Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC. This 1099 independent contractor role offers $1,000 per visit with 3–4 days per month and no weekends, in a clinic-based setting.

You’ll join an integrated care team and focus on high-quality, patient-centered services while enjoying support and flexibility to balance clinical impact with schedule predictability.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited program.
• Active North Carolina optometry license.
• Experience treating senior populations preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and preventive vision assessments.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting.
