Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide outpatient eye care in a clinic-based setting serving seniors. This 1099 independent contractor role offers schedule flexibility with on-site work in Central New Jersey, 5–6 days per month, typically 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

You’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular conditions, and recommend lenses and treatments. No nights or weekends, with administrative support and focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey optometry license.
• Experience treating senior populations preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team.
