Job summary

Eyes On Eyecare in Michigan is seeking a part-time optometrist to join a private practice split between Ann Arbor and Novi offices. The role offers full-scope optometry, with primary care, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy management, and patient-centered care in a modern, well-equipped environment.

You will work two days per week in Ann Arbor and one day per week in Novi, with a supportive team, competitive production-based incentives, and benefits such as medical and dental coverage, paid time

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted Michigan Optometry license.
• Current DPA/TPA certification.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a medical team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care, including prescribing glasses and contacts.
• Diagnose and treat glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, AMD, and other conditions within scope.
• Manage red eyes and dry eye conditions.
• Conduct pediatric exams for children aged 3-5 and up.
• Collaborate with staff and medical team; maintain patient rapport.
