Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide eye exams and vision care to seniors at partnered facilities in Louisville, KY. You will handle diagnoses, prescriptions, and collaboration with on-site staff, while maintaining a patient-centered environment.

The role offers 1–2 days per month with a standard 8-hour day (8:30 AM–4:30 PM, weekdays) and no weekends. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully with flexible scheduling and minimal admin burden.

Qualifications

• OD degree required and active Kentucky license.
• Experience with geriatric or mobile care preferred.
• Strong communication and empathetic approach needed.

We’re seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide meaningful care to geriatric patients. What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for seniors and underserved populations
• Diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions
• Prescribe lenses and collaborate with facility staff to support resident needs
• Provide education on preventive eye care and condition management
• Create a respectful, comfortable, and patient-centered environment

What We’re Looking For

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Active Kentucky Optometry license
• Experience with geriatric or mobile care is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach
• Ability to work independently in facility-based environments

Schedule

• 1–2 days per month
• Weekday flexibility
