This is a traveling optometrist role. Candidates must be comfortable drivingup to 4 hoursto assigned clinic locations, which may include some or all of the following regions:
Santa Fe
Farmington
Gallup
Las Cruces
Roswell
Mileage reimbursement is provided.
This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model:
Full-time clinic staff on-site
Organized scheduling and patient flow
Coordinated, team-based care environment

CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.
Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope
Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations
Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
This is not a high-volume retail model.
Our optometrists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent CMC directly within each partner location. We emphasize:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
Experience with senior populations preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Willingness to travel up to 4 hours to assigned clinics
2–6 weekdays per month (Wednesday–Friday)
Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
No nights
No billing or administrative responsibilities
