Job summary

VisionMax Optometry in Porter Ranch, California, is seeking a part-time Optometrist to deliver comprehensive primary vision and eye health care to patients aged one and up. You will work a flexible schedule with at least one eight-hour shift every eight weeks, seeing up to 24 patients per day per OD, supported by a skilled team and advanced diagnostic tools.

You must hold a current California optometry license.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree (OD) and California license.
• 1-3 years of clinical practice; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver outstanding patient service and exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary vision and eye health care in a patient-focused clinic for patients aged 1+,
• Manage an eight-hour shift every eight weeks with up to 24 patients per day per OD.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic technology (Optos and OCT) with a skilled team support.
• Malpractice insurance is included as part of the compensation package.
