What you’ll do:

As a part-time Associate Optometrist working 16–24 hours per week and seeing 15–19 patients daily, you will provide comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages, perform contact lens fittings and evaluations, and diagnose, treat, and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma and dry eye. You will also deliver cataract and refractive postoperative care, make appropriate referrals to specialists, and exercise sound independent judgment while following established standards of care. To support accurate diagnoses and efficient patient care, you will use advanced technology including the Zeiss Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Zeiss Cirrus photo OCT, Oculus Topographer, Topcon CV500 and CV500S phoropters, video visual acuity charts, Topcon autorefractor and lensometer, iCare tonometer, and My Vision Express electronic medical records.

Who you are:

You hold a Doctor of Optometry degree and an active California State Board of Optometry license in good standing, along with TPA and glaucoma certification. Ideally, you bring one to three years of clinical practice experience and current knowledge of optometric technology, therapeutic management guidelines, and patient care practices. You also demonstrate strong diagnostic, patient management, leadership, and organizational skills, supported by sound business judgment, self-discipline, and a commitment to exceptional patient service. As a trusted member of the eye care team, you exercise discretion and independent judgment in carrying out your responsibilities.
