Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide routine eye care across three Philadelphia-area centers. The role covers approximately 1–2 visits per month per site, with coverage potentially shared among providers.

The successful candidate will examine geriatric and underserved populations, diagnose and treat ocular conditions, and collaborate with on-site staff to ensure high-quality care. Flexible scheduling supported by the team.

Qualifications

• OD with active PA Optometry license.
• Geriatric or mobile care experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in facility settings.
• Excellent communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and underserved patients.
• Diagnose, manage, and treat common ocular conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and collaborate with on-site clinical staff.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on preventive eye care.
• Maintain a respectful, patient-centered experience in each facility.
