Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care in a clinic-based setting in Pensacola, Florida. The role operates within a community outpatient model serving senior populations.

This position offers schedule consistency with 1 day per month, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM hours, and no nights or weekends. It is an independent contractor (1099) arrangement with $900 per visit, supported by on-site staff and logistics.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Florida optometry license.
• Experience treating senior populations preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within scope of practice.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team.
• Deliver patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
