Northeastern University School of Law seeks part-time lecturers for the MLS/OLLM programs in an online format, to teach and/or develop asynchronous courses across graduate law tracks. Instructors may focus on MLS, LLM, or both, and may be engaged in course development or teaching.

Applicants should specify program preferences and relevant online teaching experience. The role is adjunct, with pay per credit and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualificações

• A Juris Doctor (JD) is required; however, candidates with a PhD will also be considered.
• Previous online teaching and course development experience is preferred.
• A strong record of academic and professional achievement in the relevant legal field is required.

Responsabilidades

• Courses are asynchronous (not live) but instructors must be available for virtual office hours and student meetings.
• Prepare course content prior to the teaching term, including updating case studies and due dates.
• Instructors who develop courses are typically expected to teach them upon completion.
• Provide detailed feedback on all student assignments weekly and engage students via announcements and discussion boards.
• Enter final grades by the registrar deadline.
