The Oncology Clinic RN follows a structured nursing process across the patient journey, from initial consult to survivorship, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes evidence-based oncology care in an ambulatory setting, with coordination across physicians, infusion nurses, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have either an associate degree in nursing with 1 year RN experience, a BSN, or an MSN.
• One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience required.
• Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willingness to obtain within 2 years of hire, or 36 cancer-related CE hours per CCA accreditation cycle.
• Current RN license in Minnesota or Wisconsin at hire; must obtain second license within 30 days if applicable; both licenses maintained.
• BLS through AHA; online BLS not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients in ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate nursing care across the continuum from initial consultation through survivorship.
• Collaborate with physicians, infusion nurses, pharmacists, and support staff.
