Job summary

Motive Energy is seeking an Ultra Care Technician I to perform regularly scheduled maintenance of industrial batteries at client sites. This part-time role averages 24–30 hours per week, with a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Responsibilities include inspections, watering, cleaning, recording voltages and specific gravities, and coordinating with customers. Experience in battery maintenance (1–3 years) and Spanish language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of battery industry experience.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company professionally at client sites.
• Performs battery inspections, watering, washing, and full-scale inspections.
• Operates a service vehicle and forklift safely.
• Coordinates repairs and communicates with customers.
• Maintains an accurate parts inventory.
• Follows safety, EPA and hazmat policies.
• Completes work orders promptly.
