Job summary

American Medical Response in Independence, IA is seeking part-time EMTs to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests and provide high‑quality care and customer service. On‑call shifts are available and successful candidates will have EMT certification and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, safe patient handling, and collaboration with health and public safety teams. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, NREMT.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.
