Townsquare Media Lafayette – KPEL is seeking a Part Time Producer & Digital Content Creator to support on-air shows and digital platforms across multiple stations and dayparts. This role requires working in-office and on-site as needed, with responsibilities spanning content creation, publishing, and community engagement.

You'll engage audiences across on-air, online, social, and app platforms, collaborating with talent, promotions, and sales teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Qualifications

• Strong on-air presence connecting authentically with listeners.
• Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
• Solid understanding of current events and various formats.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to quickly learn NexGen and Adobe Audition.

Responsibilities

• Support live on-air shows Monday through Friday.
• Prepare compelling daily show content for web and apps.
• Publish two original local articles daily for the station website and app.
• Create and publish digital content across WordPress, videos, galleries, and social content.
• Write, schedule, and engage with audiences across social media and station apps.
• Coordinate guests, interviews, and remote broadcasts.
• Represent the station at promotions, live broadcasts, and events.
