Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for day shift in the Chicago area. The OT evaluates patients, plans and implements therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients with diverse diagnoses, and provides education and discharge planning.

You will supervise OT assistants and students, contribute to program development and research, and serve as a clinical resource for staff. IL licensure is required and CPR is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent
• 1-3 years of job-related experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required
• IL licensure as an Occupational Therapist required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and plan/implement an effective Occupational Therapy program for inpatients and/or outpatients
• Provide patient education, consultation and discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate patient care to OT Assistants, Rehab Technicians and OT students
• Contribute to growth of OT Services by assisting with new programs and outcomes/research activities
• Act as an operational and clinical resource for staff in areas of expertise
