Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time role at PruittPlace - Clearwater. You will evaluate ADLs, create treatment plans, and recommend adaptive equipment to improve patient independence and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and educating patients and caregivers on strategies for success. Florida-licensed OT with SNF/post-acute experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.
