Truman Medical Centers seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist for University Health TMC (downtown campus) in Kansas City, MO. The role supports Occupational Therapy UHTMC with a part-time schedule and varied hours.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide hands-on therapy across all ages, from toddlers to seniors. You will mentor OT assistants, ensure proper documentation, and maintain a safe, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited OT program required.
• Current Missouri OT license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate therapy techniques.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients and create customized treatment plans.
• Guide hands-on therapy across ages from toddlers to seniors.
• Mentor OT assistants and students; document accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and rehab staff for best outcomes.
