Job summary

Centra HealthWorks seeks a board-certified physician in Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care to provide part-time coverage across health service areas in Lynchburg, VA. The role includes medical surveillance, pre-employment screenings, and worker health support.

You will collaborate with the HealthWorks Medical Director, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend or on-call requirements, offering opportunities to support multiple programs within Centra HealthWorks.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Flexible coverage: Minimum of 16 hours every 8 weeks.
• Predictable schedule: Monday - Friday, with no weekends or call.
• Collaborative support: Report directly to the HealthWorks Medical Director.
• Variety in practice: Support multiple HealthWorks programs and services.

Occupational Medicine Physician Needed Part Time – Centra HealthWorks

Centra HealthWorks is seeking a board-certified physician with experience in Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care to provide coverage across a variety of HealthWorks service areas. HealthWorks offers a broad range of services, including Occupational Medicine (medical surveillance and exposure evaluations, fit for duty examinations, workers compensation injury/illness care and pre-employment screenings), Employee Health support forCentra, Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation for community clients, Worksite Clinics, Wellness and Biometric Screenings, and Employee Assistance Programs.
