Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking a part-time Occupational Health Nurse to support our onsite clinic in Montgomery, IL, 3 days per week. You will deliver Occupational Medicine services to employees and integrate the full spectrum of health services programs.

Requires IL RN license, BSN preferred, and 3 years in occupational health; CPR/BBP; COHN-S/CCM preferred. Strong communication and computer skills are essential, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Illinois RN license.
• BSN is highly preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in the management of occupational services preferred.
• COHN-S and CCM certification preferred.
• CPR, AED, and BBP certification required. Instructor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Medicine Services to Company employees per site programs.
• Provide injury/illness/incident medical care and reporting per site protocols.
• Coordinate required medical compliance exams (e.g., pre-placement, customer-required, medical surveillance).
• Provide absence management services to employees out of work, including return to work and transitional return to work program management.
• Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety team to support medical emergency response.
• Support Health and Wellbeing goals and initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as identified by supervisor for efficient operation of Client Operations.

Job Summary

The Occupational Health Nurse will provide Occupational Medicine Services to Company employees including the integration of the full spectrum of health services program.

Schedule: 3 days per week 7:00am - 5:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Occupational Medicine Services to Company employees, including the integration of the full spectrum of health services programs.
• Provide Injury/ illness/ incident medical care and reporting per site protocols.
• Coordination and fulfillment of required medical compliance exams (e.g., pre-placement, customer required, medical surveillance).
• Provide absence management services to employees who are out of work on either personal or work-related disability, including return to work and transitional return to work program management.
• Utilize site’s transitional work programs.
• Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety team to provide training and support for medical emergency response.
• Support Health and Wellbeing goals and initiatives.
• Performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of Client Operations.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Illinois RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in the management of occupational services preferred.
• COHN-S and CCM certification preferred.
• CPR, AED, and BBP certification required. Instructor certification preferred.

• Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
• Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
• Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
• Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch; Some bending and stretching could be required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds and climb stairs.
• Ability to kneel for extended periods of time while rendering emergency care and/or CPR.

Work Environment

• Mainlyindoor,officeenvironmentconditions.
• May involve exposure to industrial manufacturing environments, including noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.

This position has an hourly pay range of $33 - $44 per hour. Final compensation rate for this position depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
