Job summary

The Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System seeks an OB/GYN for part-time outpatient care. The physician provides preventive and specialty gynecologic services, prenatal care, and office-based procedures within approved privileges.

This role is outpatient only and does not include obstetric deliveries. Collaboration with community hospitals and obstetrical providers ensures coordinated care for labor and delivery when needed.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Current, unrestricted California physician license or eligibility to obtain California licensure.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by organizational policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care including preventive and reproductive healthcare and prenatal care.
• Evaluate and manage common gynecologic disorders and menopausal symptoms.
• Perform routine pelvic and breast examinations and cervical cancer screening.
• Provide office-based gynecologic procedures within scope of privileges.
• Collaborate with other health system services to address whole-health of patients.
• Coordinate with hospitals for transfer of care as needed and ensure continuity of care.

Education

Current California physician license
