Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking a Nursing Adjunct Instructor (Part-Time) to teach within the Nursing program at our Tampa/Brandon campus. The role supports students with lecture, lab, and clinical practicum coursework on campus or at partner sites.

No prior teaching experience is required; training is provided. Candidates hold a Master’s degree in Nursing, RN licensure, CPR certification, and have RN clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing.
• 1-year clinical RN experience (2+ years preferred).
• Active RN licensure without encumbrances.
• Official transcripts required for each degree earned.
• Active CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned (on campus or at off-site locations).
• Apply effective teaching strategies and foster an environment conducive to learning for a diverse student population.
• Create high student engagement through activities and live synchronous sessions.
