Job summary

Touro University is seeking a Didactic Adjunct Faculty member to teach in the undergraduate nursing program located in Manhattan, NY. This part-time position requires the faculty member to plan instructional activities, meet assigned course loads, and provide quality instruction while being available for student office hours.

The ideal candidate should hold a Master of Science in Nursing and be licensed as a Professional RN in New York. The position offers a competitive hourly wage paying between $80.00 and $100.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience including clinical supervision of students.
• Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer or Health Provider.

Responsibilities

• Meet assigned course load as agreed upon at the beginning of term.
• Provide high quality instruction to students with emphasis on active teaching strategies.
• Be available to students for office hours as directed.
